The 1962 Ford Aurora qualifying re-enactment took place at the Parsippany Slot Car Show on May 21st 2006. The qualifying took place on my replica qualifying track which can be seen in the next photo. I'm positive that everyone involved had a lot of fun with the competition as the emphasis was more about having a few laughs and not absolute speed at all costs. I consider myself fortunate to again finish with fast time, and to once more qualify the same car that I competed with in 1962 was awesome. A big thanks to Pete Serroan for providing space at the show.
