The big race at Rockefeller Center on The Today Show with Jack Lescoulie filling in for Dave Garaway. I definitely was in the "zone" for this one - I remember early on that I was in second and the leader spun and it was just be smooth and keep it on as my competitors were trying to hard to catch up and crashing. This picture drove me crazy for a while because it is well documented that Phil Schultz finished second but is not in the shot - a vcr tape courtesy of Bob Beers of the race although incomplete does show Schultz standing to my right!
